Our Church Vision

Sunday - 10:45 a.m.- Worship Service in person or by Zoom

“Brotherhood requires the commitment to overcome our differences in the quest for unity.”

We as a church have a vision for a distinct church fellowship. Our vision intentionally lifts up the dignity and worth of all people by celebrating our cultural differences in the name of our Savior Jesus Christ. You see, according to the Bible, there will come a day when "a great multitude that no man could number from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages” will stand together and worship before the throne of God. And since that’s what heaven will be like, what does that say about the church here on earth?

We believe it’s possible for us to reflect that heavenly reality here in our area. Mt. Pleasant/Shepherd/Alma isn’t the most culturally diverse area. Still, our dream has been to add a fellowship that is intentionally multi-cultural, where White and Black and Hispanic and Native American, and any other culture can come together as a shining example of unity in diversity – “on earth as it is in heaven.”  As you know, we are living in times of great social upheaval and division. This fellowship can be a visible example of the way things should be. Our desire is to demonstrate the love of Christ and we would like you to consider being a part of this family of believers.

I as Pastor am praying that you will consider coming Strickland if you do not have a church you regularly attend. You may call me Darrow Parker at any time. My cell phone number: 989-400-2883 – and church phone: 989-828-5522.
