Strickland Baptist Church is an independent church.

We believe that the Holy Bible is the Divinely inspired Word of God.

We believe that there is one God, who is personal, infinite, perfect and eternal.

We believe that all people, though created in the image of God, are under the condemnation of eternal punishment through sin, both by nature and by choice, and are unable to save themselves.

We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was born of a virgin, and thus exists as fully God and fully man.  He lived a sinless life among men, died a substitutionary death on behalf of mankind, was buried, and was resurrected bodily, to save people from the guilt and condemnation of sin, offering His blood as payment for each person's sin.

We believe that a person is saved from the guilt and condemnation of sin by being justified by God as the result of his/her individual and personal faith in Jesus Christ alone, apart from any human merit or works.

We believe that there will be a final resurrection of the saved and the unsaved -- the saved for eternal life in heaven with God; the unsaved for judgment and eternal punishment in Hell.
